Posters
What is a Poster Presentation?
Poster presentations are informal discussions among meeting attendees about current projects in pharmacy practice. Poster presentations provide an excellent opportunity to pick up concepts that have been effective in other healthcare systems. Take advantage of this opportunity to network with peers, learn new skills, and tactics to enhance your practice.
Note: While this is a leadership-focused meeting, we welcome poster submissions on any pharmacy-related topic. Submissions do not need to be limited to leadership themes and should be of interest to a leadership audience.
Pharmacy Leaders will have the opportunity to display their innovative leadership skills, strategies, and experience by presenting a poster.
The deadline for submitting proposals is August 1st at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Notifications
Acceptance and rejection notifications will be emailed to the primary presenter by mid-August.
Presentation Schedule

Poster Submission FAQ
Q: Who can submit a poster?
A: Poster submissions are open to pharmacists, pharmacy residents, students, technicians, and other health-system professionals. Please refer to the eligibility criteria in the Call for Submissions for full details.
Q: What types of posters are accepted?
A: Posters must be submitted under one of the following categories:
- Case Report
- Descriptive Report
- Evaluative Study
- Research-in-Progress
Descriptions of each category can be found on the submission site.
Q: Can I submit more than one poster?
A: Yes. Individuals may submit multiple posters. However, at least one author — either the primary author or a co-author — must be present onsite to present the poster and engage with attendees.
Q: Will my abstract be published?
A: Yes. Accepted abstracts will be published as part of an online-only supplement to the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP). Additional publication details and required policies are provided within the submission tasks.
Q: Do all authors need to approve the abstract before submission?
A: Yes. All presenters listed on a poster abstract must review and provide approval of the final version before submission. The submitting author is responsible for confirming that all co-authors have agreed.
Q: Who owns the abstract, and can I reuse it?
A: Copyright remains with the authors. Abstracts and citation information may be reused for non-commercial purposes after publication. Additional details are provided within the submission tasks.
Q: Are there requirements related to originality or plagiarism?
A: Yes. All submissions must represent original work and comply with AJHP publication standards. Authors are required to review and affirm these policies as part of the submission process.
Q: When is the submission deadline?
A: All submissions must be completed by the posted deadline listed on the submission site. Late submissions are not accepted.
Q: When will I be notified of acceptance?
A: Acceptance notifications will be sent by email from [email protected]. For the 2026 Leaders Conference, notifications are expected to be sent around mid-August. Please ensure your contact information is current and check your spam or junk folder.

Q: Do I need to register for the meeting if I’m presenting a poster?
