Geeta Nayyar Biography
Geeta Nayyar, MD, MBA, is a globally recognized chief medical officer, technologist, and bestselling author who helps leaders leverage a human approach to innovation, including rapid advances in AI, to achieve better health and business outcomes.
A widely sought-after speaker and author of the Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller “Dead Wrong: Diagnosing and Treating Healthcare’s Misinformation Illness,” Dr. G has appeared on prominent media outlets such as CNBC, CNN, Fox and ABC news. She has served as chief medical officer for Salesforce and AT&T, among other executive roles. She currently serves on the board of the American Telemedicine Association and as an advisor to the American Medical Association.
A rheumatologist, Dr. G earned her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where she was admitted into an accelerated program at age 17, and her MBA at The George Washington University School of Business.
Jen Buck

Thomas Kraus
Tom Kraus, M.H.S., J.D., serves as ASHP's Vice President of the Government Relations Office. Tom previously served as the Deputy Staff Director of Health on the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) under Senators Edward Kennedy and Tom Harkin, where he was instrumental in the passage of key legislation, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA) drug and food safety reforms and user fee legislation, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and the Affordable Care Act. Following his time on Capitol Hill, he joined the FDA, where he served as Chief of Staff and Associate FDA Commissioner for Legislation. In this role, he was a top advisor to the FDA Commissioner, a key leader among FDA’s over 14,000 employees, and FDA’s main liaison and advocate to Congress. Kraus has also served as a health policy, management, and life sciences senior executive for Ernst & Young, McKinsey & Company, Avalere Health, and, most recently, the Boston Consulting Group. In these roles, he engaged with virtually every major component of U.S. healthcare, including agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services, state agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, health insurance companies, and many other companies and agencies.

SSM Health
Kristin Cannon, Vice President, Pharmacy Population Health, SSM Health has been practicing in health system pharmacy for over 30 years. She completed her B.S. Pharmacy degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and her MBA from the New England College. Her clinical career was forged as a pediatric pharmacist at Children’s Hospital-Minneapolis before transitioning into management as the Minneapolis campus pharmacy manager. In 2001, she accepted her first pharmacy director position and relocated to Wisconsin to open Aurora Health Care’s for-profit hospital in Green Bay, WI. Kristin spent the next 20 years with Advocate Aurora Health Care in director, senior director, and vice president roles within health system pharmacy operations. In 2022, she joined SSM Health as the WI Region Pharmacy Vice President and quickly pivoted to the system Pharmacy Population Health Vice President role. Kristin is responsible for the community pharmacy, ambulatory pharmacy, pop health, pharmacy access, home infusion, and LTC pharmacy teams across the SSM Health system. She also has matrix accountability for the SSM Health specialty pharmacy and the SSM Health pharmacy risk pool services.
Sarah Roberts, MHA
COO, Community Care
Ochsner Health
Sarah Roberts,MHA, FACHE serves as the Chief Operating Officer, Community Care for Ochsner Health. She is a current fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Sarah has received numerous awards in her career at Ochsner, including the Upcoming Leader Award and the Division Leader of the Year Award. In her current role, Sarah has overall administrative responsibility for service line performance and productivity for Primary Care, Urgent Care, Community Health Centers and Ochsner 65 Plus Clinics. Her main areas of focus include access to care, growth, physician relations, and the development of new models of care and enhanced clinic efficiency. She began her career as an Occupational Therapist before returning to school to earn her Master of Health Administration degree from The Ohio State University. She then relocated to Louisiana to join Ochsner as an Administrative Fellow in 2007. Her past roles at Ochsner have included Lean Management Engineering Leader, followed by Director, Assistant Vice President, and Vice President of Medical Specialties. Prior to assuming the COO role, she was the Vice President, Primary Care and Urgent Care Service Lines.
Matthew Malachowski, PharmD, MHA, BCPS
System Director, Population Health and Ambulatory Care

Matthew Malachowski, Pharm.D., MHA, BCPS is the System Director for Population Health and Ambulatory Care at Ochsner Health with headquarters in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Malachowski serves as the Co-Chair for the Vaccine Subcommittee and the Ambulatory Subcommittee of the Ochsner Health Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee. He serves on the Performance and Operations committee of the Ochsner Health Network. Dr. Malachowski has oversight of the Ochsner Refill Center and collaborates with Information Services and the Primary Care Department to innovate solutions to tomorrow’s patient care problems. He has responsibility for the Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacists imbedded in the outpatient physician clinics and enjoys developing Advanced Care teams. Dr. Malachowski completed a Masters in Healthcare Administration at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2020, his residency at UAB Hospital in 2007 and graduated from pharmacy school at the University of Rhode Island in 2006..

Dr. Josh Hammonds is a tenured professor at Rollins College with a PhD in Organizational Communication, holding dual appointments in the Department of Communication and Crummer Graduate School of Business. He specializes in Leadership Development, Team Collaboration, Employee Engagement, Talent Development, and Workplace Burnout. Beyond academia, Dr. Hammonds has designed and led executive leadership programs for senior and executive leaders across multiple industries. His immersive year-long programs focus on executive presence, leadership communication, and culture building. He also facilitates high-impact workshop intensives on emotional intelligence, accountability, and team collaboration. A leader in data-driven strategy, Dr. Hammonds co-created an Employee Engagement Heat Map Tool, used by organizations worldwide to analyze key drivers of engagement. His insights have shaped decision-making in areas such as performance management, change readiness, and employee experience analytics. A sought-after keynote speaker, he has presented at leadership conventions, corporate retreats, and industry conferences. Anthony C. Scott, PharmD, MBA, FASHP
Director, Pharmacy Operations and Account Management

Anthony (Tony) C. Scott is a Director of Pharmacy Operations and Account Management at Cardinal Health in which he oversees the acute and ambulatory care services for partner facilities within the region. He obtained his PharmD from The University of Georgia and his MBA in Healthcare Management from New England College. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA and then completed his PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at the North Florida - South Georgia VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He is also a diplomat of the American Society of Heath System Pharmacists (ASHP) Foundation Pharmacy Leadership Academy and was recently granted fellow status with ASHP. He was also the PGY1/2 Health-System Pharmacy Administrative Residency program director at UChicago Medicine. Anthony has been an active member of ASHP, currently serving as the Chair for the Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders (SPPL). He has previously served as the Chair for the Educational Steering Committee and was a workgroup coordinator for the section advisory group on Operations & Leading Change. He has been an ASHP Foundation Research Project Member on RFID technology. He also served on the Committee on Nominations for the SPPL. He remains active with the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GSHP) since returning to the state of Georgia.
